The cost of attendance at The College at Southeastern is lower than other similar institutions in the southeast region. This is made possible by the Cooperative Program which lowers the tuition rate for Southern Baptist students to half the cost per credit hour.

The only requirement for this scholarship is full-time status (12 credit hours or more during the semester). It is a need-based scholarship. There are two application periods: March 1-April 15 to apply for the fall and spring semesters; and Oct. 1-Nov. 15 to apply for the spring semester only.

Requirements include:
-full-time status in the undergraduate program
     -Southern Baptist affiliation
-residency in North Carolina at least one year prior to attending school
Applications are usually made available in February with a deadline of April 1st for scholarships for the following academic year. Apply at www.wachoviascholars.com.

College grant from the North Carolina General Assembly & the State Education Assistance Authority of up to $1,950 for full-time college students taking at least 12 hours and $1,463 for three-quarter-time college students taking 9-11 hours. Students in the college for the fall and spring semesters, and who have been legal residents of North Carolina for at least one year as of the first day of class of that academic year are eligible to apply. Application is usually made available in the month of April each year with the check mailed to the student in August of that year.

Although Southeastern does not participate in federal aid programs, through a special arrangement with Sallie Mae we are able to certify our students for Signature Students loans which offer deferred payment plans. To learn more, visit www.salliemae.com.
