Biography
Edgar Aponte serves as Director of Hispanic Leadership Development and Instructor at Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a member at Christ Covenant Church in North Raleigh. Edgar holds a B.A. in Business Administration, a graduate degree in Corporate Finance, an M.B.A (Management), an M.Div (Christian Ministry), and currently working on a Ph.D. in Theological Studies, with a concentration in Systematic Theology. Edgar is from the Dominican Republic. Before coming to Southeastern, he served as Minister Counselor for political affairs at the Embassy of the Dominican Republic in Washington, DC and before that he worked in banking in the Dominican Republic. Edgar and his wife Sara live in Wake Forest with their two children.
